Terlalu mahal. Rumah pun mahal.
Bukan sebab mereka KAYA...
Tapi TERPAKSA

Kenapa Pakai Tudung? Why we're wearing Hijab?

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh ...

Ohayo gozaiamsu ...  Ogenkidesuka minna san ... Oshashiburi desu ....
(sambil bayang muka comel awek Jepun ... )

Makcik German :
''Warum tragen Sie Kopftuch?"
(Maksud: Kenapa kamu pakai tudung?)

Good job Aisya ... Alhamdulillah Allah beri hidayah untuk awak menjawabnya ...

Aisya de Malaysian cakap tulis dekat blog beliau...

Aku serius takde idea, terkedu, tercengang, taktau nak jawap apa. Lain kali takdelah aku terkedu depan orang lagi kann. Hihihi. I should have prepared myself before hand, tengok sekarang apa dah jadi! Aisya, Aisya! *Slap myself!*

By reading her entry, Aisya gave me another perception or thought ... Hmmm we are as muslim ... Pernah tak terfikir KENAPA KITA PAKAI TUDUNG ???

  • Mungkin tak sebab mak suruh ?
  • Mungkin tak sebab Ustazah kat skolah suruh?
  • Mungkin tak sebab rambut kita tak cantik macam kena renjatan elektrik?
  • Mungkin tak sebab kita "nak nampak muslimah melayu terakhir?

Aku pernah menulis beberapa entri tentang aurat.

Why we re wearing Hijab?

Yes Aisya - you re right ... Kita pakai tudung sebab Allah perintahkan kita untuk menutup aurat .. menerusi firman Allah menerusi surah An-Nur dan Surah Al-Ahzab ..

Maksudnya: {Dan janganlah mereka (wanita) menampakkan perhiasannya kecuali apa yang biasa nampak daripadanya dan hendaklah mereka menutup kain tudung mereka hingga ke bawah dada}. [An-Nur: 31].

Firman Allah SWT lagi,

[Al-Ahzab: 59].

Aku share sikit content pamphlet tu ye :
(the rest you guys can explore further HERE : http://islamicpamphlets.com/ )

The Hijab is Obedience
Although there are many benefits of Hijab, it is first and foremost a commandment from God. Therefore, wearing it is an act of faith and obedience to The Creator, as mentioned in the Quran:

“Tell the believing women to draw their outer garments around them (when they go out or are among men).”Quran 33:59
God, the All-Wise, knows what is best for His creation, and has therefore provided guidance in order to benefit humankind. The wearing of hijab, just like any other act of obedience to The Creator, brings one closer to their Lord and helps bring a sense of satisfaction and contentment to the person wearing it. The Hijab in no way suggests that women are inferior to men.

The Hijab is Modesty
Islam promotes modesty and decency and seeks to minimise immorality within society. The Hijab, amongst other things, helps attain this goal.

“Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: That is purer for them; and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty. They should not display their beauty except that which is apparent; that they should draw their veils over their chests and not display their beauty…”Quran 24:30-31
Note that in the above verses, it is men who are addressed first in regards to lowering their gaze and guarding their modesty. This counters the claim that all responsibility for such modesty is shouldered by women.

While Islam discourages public displays of immodest dress and sexual behavior, being a practical religion, Islam encourages love, affection and intimacy between married couples in private.

The Hijab is Protection
The wisdom behind the Hijab is to minimise sexual enticement and moral degradation in society as much as possible for both men and women. The Hijab helps protect men, women and society by creating stability in both families and communities in a number of ways:

Shields from unwanted advances.
Shields women from perverted looks and superficial scrutiny.
May help reduce the likelihood of sexual assaults against women.
Shields from sexual exploitation of women based on appearance.
Shields from temptations and harmful desires.

The Hijab is Dignity
The Hijab promotes a woman’s femininity rather than suppressing it, and grants women dignity and self-respect for who they are, as opposed to being judged by superficial standards, such as appearance. This grants women the power to shape their own dignity via more meaningful standards, such as righteousness, knowledge and societal contribution, rather than having a consumer society dictate their worth through material means, such as how they look or how much money they earn. In the sight of God, men and women do not have to be identical in order to be equal, and this is reflected in the different roles and responsibilities which apply to each.

Nobel Peace Prize winner, Tawakkul Karman, ‘The mother of Yemen’s revolution,’ when asked about her Hijab by journalists and how it is not proportionate with her level of intellect and education, replied:

“Man in early times was almost naked, and as his intellect evolved he started wearing clothes. What I am today and what I’m wearing represents the highest level of thought and civilization that man has achieved, and is not regressive. It’s the removal of clothes again that is a regression back to the ancient times.”

The Hijab is Respect
In a number of societies today, many women are taught from early childhood that their worth is proportional to their attractiveness. They are compelled to follow unrealistic and demeaning standards of beauty in order to satisfy unreasonable peer pressure and community expectations. In such a superficial environment, where so much emphasis is placed on external beauty, the internal beauty of the individual counts for very little.

Islam however, teaches that a woman is to be respected according to her virtuous character and actions rather than by her looks or physical features, of which she has little or no control. She does not have to use her body and charms to gain recognition or acceptance in society, as the Hijab directs self-worth away from appearance and onto qualities such as piety, virtue, modesty and intellect – attributes which are more equally accessible to all.

Every woman who wears a hijab or burqa is a unique individual, and it is unfair and inaccurate to make a sweeping judgement about all such women based on one item of clothing they have in common.

The Hijab is Confidence
The Hijab enables women to have confidence in themselves as human beings. It increases the self-esteem of women by allowing them to focus on what really matters in life. The obsession with physical appearance can have dangerous and unhealthy consequences, as some women go to harmful lengths in order to feel accepted by an increasingly demanding society. The Hijab helps prevent such mental and physical harms associated with a lack of confidence, by limiting self-consciousness based on appearance.

“I don’t wear it because I am oppressed, I wear it because I am empowered.”Joumana, 23, Melbourne ...

OKAY ITU JER NAK SHARE KALI NI ...

Semoga bermanfaat semua ... Insya Allah.

The Daily Reminder 12 :Excellence of learning and teaching Quran

15/11/2015 (notes to share)

1. Relevant hadith s. The Prophet saw said:

i. "The BEST among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."

ii. "No people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, but TRANQUILITY descends upon them, mercy overshadows them, the angels gather around them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him."

- if we want tranquility and mercy in our family..put aside 10-20 minutes for all family members to gather and take turn to recite Quran and study it - together.

2. Nevertheless, we MUST BE SINCERE in reciting, learn and teach Quran.

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, “Read the Qur’an and ACT by it. And do not abandon it, do not exceed its limits, do not eat with it (i.e. money) and do not seek more by using it.”

i. do not exceed its limit - eg. even if we are able to recite Quran beautifully but when we want to recite it, first make sure we don't disturb others
ii. do not eat with it (i.e. money) by using it -paying people to recite Quran 'for many types of purpose' are already happening rampantly today. and many people confidently believe that 'paying people to read Quran' served the purpose e.g. helping a dead relative. while actually it is forbidden by the Prophet saw.

Conclusion:
Allah loves to reward us. Try our level best to read and memorize. The good news is ~ the more difficult it is for us (due to ageing etc.) when we continue to attempt ~ the more reward insyaAllah- don't give up!!

Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 10:
And (as for) those who disbelieve and reject Our communications, they are the inmates of the fire, to abide therein and evil is the resort.

Fakta tentang visa ke Australia

VISA FAQ

1. An ETA is an electronically stored authority for travel to Australia, and is accessible by airlines, travel agents and Australian border agencies. It's required that you obtain an ETA if you intend to travel to Australia.
2.An ETA is 100% electronic, which allows you to visit Australia without the need to apply through a departmental office for a traditional paper visa.
Airlines, travel agents, cruise companies, and immigration officials all have similar systems which allow them to run an inquiry on your visa status.
Once you are approved , all of your name and passport information will then be active and valid in the Electronic Travel Authority immigration system. The airline or cruise company will then swipe your passport at check-in, electronically verifying your visa status in the ETA system.

3. REFF number only for website application.
4. Its OK if ETA slip without expiry date, as long as check in status OK TO BOARD.
5. ETAs are linked to the passport held at time of visa grant.  Therefore, if you get a new passport, your ETA cannot be ‘transferred’ to your new passport and you will need to apply for a new ETA in your new passport.
6. All ETA-eligible applicants can apply for an ETA through a travel agent, airline or specialist service provider.
The following passport holders can also apply online
Brunei
Canada
Hong Kong (SAR of China)
Japan
Malaysia
Singapore
South Korea

The Daily Reminder 11 : Remember Allah

1/11/2015 - notes

1. do not talk for a long time without remembering Allah

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not talk too much without remembering and mentioning Allah, for too much talk without mentioning Allah hardens the heart, and the person farthest from Allah is the one with a hard heart.” (Tirmidhi)

when we talk, we must on and off quote the verses of Allah or hadith or mentioning Allah. so that:
- our heart will be soften
- we will more careful with what we say
- we will be more humble in reminding each other i.e. with wisdom and patience
- we will benefit here and hereafter.

2. important to refer to Quran to find solutions/solve problems

i. if we submit to the 'words of Allah' (al Quran) we will find peace
- everything 'do this' in the Quran if we do it - it is for our own good
- everything 'don't do' in the Quran if we didn't do it - it is also for our own good
ii. most of the verses in the Quran are so clear and direct.

3. the longest verse in the Quran is in surah al baqarah. i.e. about debt/loan. Islam allows us to have debt/loan...but follow the rulings... and

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "if a man marries a woman with a dowry (that he will pay it for her later) and that he intends not to give it to her is an adulterer, and whoever borrows money and he intends not to pay it off is a THIEF"

4. al Quran is the book most recited in the whole world (and memorized even by those who can not read it). those who recite al Quran and do good deed = most profitable business!!!

(35:29)
Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish -

5. al Quran recitation will intercede for us in hereafter

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.(Muslim)

6. recite al baqarah for our 'house warming' / shop warming

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Do not make your houses like graves, for the Shaytan runs away from a house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited'(Muslim)

conclusion:
- every Muslim should be discipline and committed to recite al Quran with understanding. may Allah make it easy for us and our family to be committed to recite Quran everyday. aaminn
