Bab 10/2017 : Diari Mimpi : Tips temuduga HLP

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh dan selamat hari indah semua.

Hahaha. Ada lagi ke orang datang baca blog ni ye.  Maaflah kehidupan agak kucar-kacir sikit. Biasalah time and life management yang fail. 

Setiap hari rindu nak tulis blog tapi tak berkesempatan. Dulu-dulu lepak kat ig je buat simpanan takut terlupa. Ni IG pun dah uninstall. Dahsyatkan. hihihi... but the account still exist. Once a while will check de updates via lapy.

Oh by the way ... we are in October now. Chapter 10 for the year 2017.  Hi October 2017. Please be nice to me ya.  Poor August and September 2017. I missed to jot things down for both month in this blog due to miserable life change.

Oh no no no ... bukan sebab kawin. hahaha.  

Me ? Busy with my new apartment which has a lottttttttttttt of problems.  Plus busy with transferring my work load due to I need to go for a long break from works.  And starting my new journey as a student again-alhamdulillah.

Have you guys read my entry entitle "Diari MIMPI - HLP owh HLP"  click HERE for revision hahaha.  Hmm at first I tot to finish the kisah MIMPI but time after time I still cannot find a timely time to finish it so lemme now give a quick ending of the story ya.  Ada orang nak baca tak?  Hihihi.

Ok in short - alhamdulillah - my proposal last year released for next step to JPA's evaluation. and to make it shorter - I've been selected for an interview session. Alhamdulillah.  And to cut it even shorter , I succeeded in the interview. Alhamdulillah.  

Oh and now ALHAMDULILLAH successfully enrolled to university again #nhhasjourneybacktoschool  #pray4nhhas.  Doakan saya lulus cemerlang ye dalam pengajian. Insya Allah.

So now we are in October 2017, I belief that in this month will have interview session for 2018 intake. Because mine was in October 2016 for 2017 intake. And normally the interview will take place somewhere after the budget announcement.  So before I need to answer or share repeated tips for the interview as per what had happened during the proposal preparation (oh my fren said - I'm their inspiration and idol) hahahah... sejenis kelakar korang ni.  I'm not the first one in our batch who succeeded with HLP - I'm the 2nd one.  The first one was Balkish (enrolled to uni intake 2016) - but since she is in cadre - maybe they not really know her OR her paper is extremely good until no one dare to follow.  She is seriously brights student - pandai weih kawan aku tu - jurnal dia publish everywhere (aku nye - sampai harini tak publsih - hahahaha) ...  So ko boleh bayanglah hebat ke tidak proposal beliau bukan?  Unlike me - sejenis manusia chillex and last minute ini memang tidak layak menjadi idola.  Bila rakan-rakan nak pinjam proposal - malu glerz nak share. hahaha.  

But before they asked me again for the HLP interview tips, lemme put it here NOW.  Hope that this simple tips can give you (who ever need this) some insight what to expect and what to kelentong during the interview.  But the question is subject to the course that you applied, and subject to panel. 

Me?  Apply for technical course. New science course in Malaysia. and I'm the first batch for my university - dan uni layan kami sangat baik sampai rasa segan.  Harap dapat kongsi kisah tentang " Me and my university" dalam entry akan datang. Insya Allah. 

It was tuff. Seriously.  Since this is new course - so my interview panel all are young people. Alhamdulillah so that they didn't asked those pure theory on statistics and math. I'm not doing pure / applied math and stats by the way. I'm enroll for Ms DS&A.  The combination of math+stats+computing+analysis.  GOOD LUCK HUDA. MAY ALLAH BLESS YOU HUDA. MAY YOU PASS WITH FLYING COLORS, INSYA ALLAH.

Okay back to the real objectives of this entry to share "tips temuduga HLP" ... ECEWAH ... g interview sekali dah berani bagi tips. Hihihi... Jangan marah.  Tips temuduga HLP ni adalah hasil dari pengalaman sendiri dan hasil dari kutipan pengalaman rakan-rakan hebat terdahulu yang telah melepasi temuduga HLP dengan jaya dan bergayanya. Saya rasa okay kot kalau saya jot down kat sini.  In case readers have another tips to share, please share in the comment box.  May it bring benefits to all who read and need it, Insya Allah.  Okay ...

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim ...

Okay sesi temuduga HLP JPA ni biasanya ada 3 orang panel dan calon akan masuk sama ada secara berdua / bertiga bergantung kepada bilangan calon yang ada. Macam saya dulu masuk berdua.  Bagi calon PHD atau master by research - akan kena buat pembentangan tentang proposal (kena ada slide etc) but for master by course - kena sembang bawak proposal je tak payah buat slide.  ketiga-tiga panel ni biasanya 1 pegawai kerajaan / GLC dalam bidang yang ko mintak (memang orang teknikal) - like me adalah boss dari department aku sendiri,  kalau tak bernasib baik - maybe kena orang dari industry player -hahaha. 1 panel dari area HR/ orang yang nak keluarkan duit - biasanya PTD dari JPA. Tapi aku dapat PTD dari EPU (kalau tak silap) dan 1-pensyarah dalam bidang yang korang mintak (alhamdulillah i get young lecturer so dia tak tanya soalan yang bukan2 sangat. Sangat straight to the point + modern question.  the old one the otai lecturers (with the white hairs normally) will asked extreme question on theory + formula + method and literature review .... memang kalau ilmu tak cukup - bisa mendatangkan kegagalan dalam interview.  

Actually all my previous frens interviewed by the OTAI lecturer and the questioned was so tough.  Hanya yang betul2 hebat lepas yang lain semua gagal.  So I asked both types of frens - apsal ko gagal - apa dia tanya and apa ko jawab.  and i asked the successful one also - how you handle the situation.  Just in case it happen to me also.   

Apa nak bawak masa interview?

1) Pakailah pakaian yang ko rasa ko paling yakin. Jangan ko tak biasa pakai 3 layer suits tetiba menggedik hari kejadian nak pakai slack blouse blazer bagai. Nanti ko jalan pun tak selesa and rasa awkward.  Kalau tak biasa pakai tudung shawl berbelit, jangan ngada-ngada nak pakai tudung bukan2.  Pakai baju yang ko rasa confident nak bergerak and what makes you looks like you.  Janganlah selekeh atau OVER DRESSED pakai kebaya bunga2 nak pergi kenduri pulak.  Macam aku - dari zaman aku minta biasiswa masa lepas SPM dulu aku dan ditarbiahkan - jangan ada lebih dari 3 warna pada pakaian yang dipakai ketika interview dan itu yang aku amalkan sampai hari ini. 

2) Nametag dan blazer dilupa jangan.  WAJIB. 

3) Bawak lah "toyol".  I don't know... my fren call it toyol ... But I don't like the word.  So let us used the nice word lah kan.  BRING GOOD SUPPORTING DOCUMENT.  Apa contoh-contohnya?  Contohnya kalau kau apply contoh macam hmmm aku lah senang bagi contoh diri sendiri ... aku ni ada buat projek ... nak kata related tak related sangat nak kata tak related , related lah jugak ... hahaha.  dan aku juga ada attend prior course yang related dengan bidang yang aku nak apply ni.  So hari kejadian aku bawak lah separate document tunjukkan projek2 aku yang konon2nya dah sukses tu dan siap standby laptop in case panel nak tengok kan ... aku bawak fliers copy citerkan projek yang aku dah buat (bukan aku buat sorang - satu team lah buat - tapi aku jaga 1 portion je - gebang je lebih... ) disamping promote lah projek yang kita dah buat tu ... (kalau projek tu is public access lah. Kalau PnC jangan kau bawak pulak - mau kena tatatertib terus.  Pastu aku bawak satu lagi document course yang aku dah attend dan apa yang aku dah belajar dan apa yang aku dan contribute dalam course tu.  tu je.

Biasanya dia akan provoke "Kalau awak dah hebat sangat - kenapa nak sambung study?"  Ha ... silalah standby apa jawapan yang awesome untuk mematahkan serangan provokasi tersebut. Hahaha... Macam aku memang dah standby soalan ni.  Reason nak sambung study sebab a.......

Okay ... biasanya, mana-mana temuduga pun akan dimulakan dengan soalan TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF.  Aku ni dah didokrinkan part ni adalah paling crucial - sebab inilah first impression dia nak kenal ko ni sapa.  first impression tu amat penting ye.  Jadi silalah buat skrip praktis macam mana nak perkenalkan diri dalam point yang sharp. Sebab kadang dari sesi perkenalkan diri ni dia lead to the next question (ikut nasib). So be careful on how you gonna introduce yourself okay.

Part 1 : Sikit tips / point untul Perkenalkan diri ketika menghadiri temuduga.

• In brief nama dan asal dan tempoh perkhidmatan.
• Penglibatan dan sumbangan yang dah diberikan sepanjang berkhidmat - peringkat nasional dan international,  peringkat perkhidmatan awam. komuniti dan lain-lain.
• Pengiktirafan yang pernah diterima. APC ke apa ke kan.
• Sumbangan dalam kemasyarakatan.
• Kenapa pilih course work dan bukan research (ni soalan faveret - sapa nak jawapan sila belanja I dulu) - hahaha.
• Kalau ada attend any course yang government pernah hantar yang relevant dengan proposal HLP - silalah buat dalam bentuk handout dan bawak dan bagi salinan kat panel.  (buat 3 copy jangan suruh panel share pulak).
• Kalau ada any physical project yang pernah buat, programming yang pernah buat - silalah bawak sekali.

Part 2: Project Defend :  (tak tau nak tulis apa) - tapi ini soalan berkaitan dengan projek yang kita proposed

• Kenapa pilih projek ini - so terangkanlah kaitan dengan dasar / polisi / PTJ etc.  jabatan / kementerian / negara / global (selalunya kami dengan UN lah)
• Kena faham dan menjiwai betul-betul projek yang kita pilih.  Kena pertahankan betul2 with knowledge.
• Kena ada rough idea - method apa yang kita cadangkan nak guna.  Of course kena study and if possible - print dan bawak hardcopy sumber bacaan yang kita baca.
• Panel akan provoked (terutama kalau dapat senior lecturer from university) memang dia akan provoke habis-habisan.  Dia akan argue semua method yang kita plan nak guna.  Cuba sedaya upaya defend dengan ilmu dan senyuman.  Key point dia senyum dan layankan je. Positive kan diri.
• Kalau agak-agak dah kalah - mengaku jelah cakap "itu perancangan saya je, mungkin saya salah - sebab tu lah saya nak p study.  Kalau Prof. ada cadangan method - bolehlah kongsi untuk saya pertimbangkan dan study serba sedikit sebelum memulakan pengajian (kena confident dia nak perakukan nama kita)  - guna reverse psychology yang dia memang kena / nak bagi kita HLP tu ...
• Kalau ada kepakaran dalam mana-mana teknologi / software - sila pastikan level kepakaran anda - jangan temberang sampai terperangkap sebab panel semua memang hebat. Otai-otai belaka terutama lecturer.
• Kalau panel suh tukar topic - cuba defend - kalau dah gagal nak defend - cakap je you bersedia untuk pertimbangkan topik dan method yang panel cadangkan.

Macam aku haritu sebab aku rasa proposal aku macam tak best masa aku submit dulu.  So aku buat proposal baru yang dikemaskini dan aku bawak masa interview dan aku bagi kat panel masainterview.  Aku cakaplah "saya ada kemaskini beberapa fakta dan literature review dalam proposal ni berbanding yang dah submit dulu." ... nanti dia akan provok cakap ko main2 masa submit proposal dulu - pandai2 lah ko goreng apsal ko kemaskini proposal tu dan tandakan bahagian mana yang ko tambah atau kau edit dan explain why. Kalau justifikasi ko kukuh - dia terima je.  Tapi wajiblah tanda kat mana ko revise sebab dia dah baca proposal asal yang ko submit dulu tu.

Macam aku dulu method macam "main-main" ... hahaha... kena azan 1 kali ngan kawan aku - teruslah aku kemas kini dan bagi kat panel masa temuduga aku tandalah aku kemaskini kat method and references.

Owh upon attending the interview session dulu - aku ada terbaca gak tips temuduga HLP yang agak banyak dikongsikan kat blog kan ... JANGAN PERNAH TUNJUK PANDAI - JANGAN SEMBANG / MULAKAN SEMBANG BENDA YANG KAU TAK BERAPA NAK TAU.  Contoh KALAU SETAKAT pernah guna sesuatu software / programming language tu sekali tak sekala dan kau pun tak tau details JANGAN PERNAH BAJET BAGUS SEMBANG MACAM NAK RUNTUH DUNIA yadayadayada sebab lecturers yang datang tu biasanya hebat.  hahaha... Ko citer setakat yang ko biasa guna je.  Kalau dia provoke, ko jawab je takat yang ko tahu.  Dan buat2lah tanya details kat panel - biar bagi dia sembang lebih citer betapa hebatnya dia.  Hahaha... #ambikHatiPanel  .... pastu buat2 muka berminat nak mendalami software/ method tu dan cakap sangat2 harap agar lulus interview ni supaya dapat g belajar benda yang dia citerkan tadi tu... hihihi ...  

Part 3: Isu - isu semasa :

Ok tips to survive in PART 3 as below :

• Silalah start baca surat khabar / any reliable news sources.  (I read every morning lepas solat subuh - just flip via my phone for the header - hahaha)
• The topic can be very broad (can be out of your proposal topic) and can be related to your proposal.
• Cuba kaitkan situasi semasa dengan cadangan proposal - apa significant nya.
• Kaitkan dengan dasar-dasar negara semasa dan akan datang  (RMK 11, TN50 - kalau time nak interview lepas budget announcement - pergilah ambil tahu apa yang diumumkan).
• Kaitkan dengan dasar / polisi perkhidmatan awam seperti Transformasi perkhidmatan awam, NBOS.  I kena soalan on significant of this two policy with my study and proposal.  And been asked - how you can enforce NBOS in your study and apply it to the perkhidmatan awam and negara.

Other discussant tapi ni part paling faveret and macam penutuplah:

• What value added that you can contribute to the public service / department and country / nation.
• Apa faedah yang kerajaan akan dapat kalau kerajaan "invest" in your study - how can you contribute back to perkhidmatan awam dan negara.

Soalan investmen ni best. Dulu-duluuuuu punya dulu, aku ada kenal sorang akak ni - dia ptd agung lah (bagi aku ptd yang hebat ni aku suka panggil depa ptd agung... hahaha or ptd elit). akak ni baik - gred dia tinggi tapi tak berlagak langsung. Dia ptd tapi graduate dalam bidang IT dan dia memang hebat. aku jumpa dia tahun 2012 kot kalau tak silap. sembang-sembang dengan beliau masa kursus cyber security dia cakap dia baru balik UK dapat HLP (tu zaman kaya ye) tapi aku hormat akak tu sebab dia memang niat pergi nak belajar dan ada ilmu yang dia nak memang tak ada kat m'sia masa tu dan dia memang perlukan ilmu tu - so dia pulun study kejap je dah balik malaysia - tak ada ngada2 nak jalan2 extend bagai... Dia cakap, masa interview dia buat cost analysis berapa penaja akan spend untuk dia dan apa plan dia untuk payback and contribute kepada penaja dan negara. Gile hebatkan. aku pun poyo gak lah buat cost analysis guna ilmu optimization yang lebih banyak lupa dari ingat tu. Hahaha... tapi aku tak present pun cost analysis tu masa panel tanya aku soalan ni, sebab aku tak confident cara aku kira tu betul ke tidak.  Seriously I've been asked about this question.  Hahahah... Aku petik rough estimate je berapa penaja perlu belanjakan, dan sebenarnya dengan menaja aku penaja JIMAT sebanyak xxx (bagi anggaran je) berbanding perlu hire consultant luar memandangkan gaji aku yang kecik berbanding upah consultant. Hahahaha... panel EPU tu memang gelak lah dengar confident level aku yang tahap poyo tu. Tapi dia sebutlah "I should endorse you to university xxx, but you know due to ...yadayadayada, I hope that you'll satisfy by studying here in Malaysia" (masa ni aku macam agak yakin lah dapat...hihihi - perasankan) - sebab aku petik semua universiti luar negara tapi apply local sebab application abroad dibekukan masa aku memohon (alhamdulillah ada hikmahnya dan aku sangat bersyukur). dan aku reply kepada panel "It's okay Dr. I'm proud to do it here in Malaysian way, we live in boundary-less world, so it's all the same, we have qualified university in Malaysia too (8 RU dah rasanya), if not us - who else will help our nation ...yadayadayada ...."  haaaaa poyo kan... tapi hakikatnya bila masuk study ...menggelupur aku... SUSAH WEIH COURSE NI... mujur aku study dalam malaysia je. Pensyarah SEMUA SANGAT BAIK.... alhamdulillah. moralnya ukur baju dibadan sendiri dan betulkan niat. Nak belajar ke nak mengabiskan duit penaja?  Allah tahu niat kita. Takyah kelentong.

• Kenapa kerajaan perlu pertimbangkan you untuk diberi biasiswa dan bukan orang lain. Aku siap suh panel tu endorse sebanyak mungkin orang. hahaha... tak makan sorang beb. Lagi ramai orang pandai dalam public service lagi bagus.  hahaha... rare tak jawapan aku...
• Apa kelebihan you berbanding orang lain.

Maka silalah mula rangkakan soalan dan jawapan-jawapan yang bernas untuk digorengkan.  Lagi rare dan unik jawapan lagi bagus. Tapi biar yang logik lah... Jangan "loyar buruk" ... buat orang menyampah.

Key point g interview :

1) Senyum dan positif dan confident boleh dapat.

2) Kena faham / menjiwai topik yang sendiri proposed.

3) Kena ada ilmu tentang dasar2 negara dan dasar2 perkhidmatan awam.

4) knowledge on general issue - globally n locally.

Bab 7/2017 : WHY BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE ?

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh ... 

Bab 7/2017 : Salam 20 Syawal 1438H.

Sihat semuanya?  Moga mempunyai hari-hari yang indah bersama semua yang tersayang ya. Insya Allah ...

Pernah tak korang ditanya ...  why bad things happened to so-call good people -  at least we're the one assume that people are good lah kan. Kadang kita mungkin terdetik rasa cam aneh Kenapa orang islam teruk diuji?  Perang sana sini. Adakah Allah tak sayang dan tak nak tolong orang-orang Islam yang sedang berperang tu semua?

Seriously aku pernah diasak oleh seseorang yang so-call tak puas hati dengan Tuhan - kenapa dia diuji dengan begitu teruk.  Pastu siap mengungkit-ungkit kenapa Palestin diuji. Syrian diuji. Kids and women badly tortured etc.  Dia punya asakan soalan tu memang buat aku terdiam dan jadi gerun pun ada.  Puas juga aku terang, jelaskan dan dia menemplak aku semula "You senang lah cakap sebab you tak rasa apa yang I rasa"  

Haa ambek aku ... walau dalam hati nak juga kujawab "macam lah ko rasa apa yang aku rasa" ... hahaha... jika kujawab begitu, kelak tidak berkesudahan pula persengketaan.  Harus juga ada yang mencerca dengan kata "Wanita lindungan Tuhan juga berbahasa 'kesat' begitu" ?  adeiii   pening juga.  Hahaha ...

But seriously guys ... WHY BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE ?

This the question and issue that a lot of people are struggle with.  Usually the inability to answer this question can cause a lot of headache and worse ...

To some people it may lead to disbelief ... nauzubillah.

A lot of people cannot really find the answer - cause them to ignore the ALMIGHTY GOD.

But some people will give "standard answer"  that we've been advice before something like :  "Ujian tu kan tanda Allah sayang.  Ujian tu kan sebab Allah nak naikan darjat ko"

Kau bagi jawapan ni kat kawan aku macam yang aku tulis dipermulaan entri ini tadi - nescaya teruklah kau kena semburan dengan dia.  Hahaha.

Recently Allah allows me to listen to one inspirational talk by Yasmin Mogahed about this topic. (it's in youtube - you guys can google it or click HERE ).  And the point that she share in her talks make me stood back and realise; "Hmmm betul juga" ....

She said - BAD THINGS NEVER HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE.

Tersandar kejap aku mendengarnya.  Bad things never happen to good people... seriously? 

Habis tu yang banyak kita tengok orang baik kena tindas kena buli dan sebagainya tu KENAPA?  Kita salah sangka yang dia tu baik tapi-sebenarnya-dia-tu-tak-baik-ke?  Ke macam mana sebenarnya ni?

Then she said "seriously BAD THINGS NEVER HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE.  And you know why?"

Sebab katanya it's mentioned in hadis sahih ...

“Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affair is good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him he is grateful and that is good for him. If something of harm befalls him he is patient and that is good for him” 

(Saheeh Muslim #2999)".

ALL the affair of the believer  is good.

Kalau dapat berita baik - dia bersyukur.

Kalau diuji - dia sabar.

Masya Allah.  Hadis yang biasa dengar tapi tidak berbekas di hati.  But this time - menusuk betul dalam hati aku.

With this belief now - aku akan move on ... come what may I'll stay and stand strong Insya Allah.

Hey dude ... BAD THINGS NEVER HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE.

“One of them is the state of (receiving a) blessing. It’s obligatory upon him (the believer) in this state (to display) the gratitude.

The second: is the state (of being) tested. It is obligatory upon him (the believer) in this state (to observe) the patience.

The third: is the state (of committing) a sin. It is obligatory upon him (the believer) in this state to seek the forgiveness from it (the sin).

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 214:
Or do you think that you would enter the garden while yet the state of those who have passed away before you has not come upon you; distress and affliction befell them and they were shaken violently, so that the Apostle and those who believed with him said: When will the help of Allah come? Now surely the help of Allah is very near!

Adakah patut kamu menyangka bahawa kamu akan masuk syurga, padahal belum sampai kepada kamu (ujian dan cubaan) seperti yang telah berlaku kepada orang-orang yang terdahulu daripada kamu? Mereka telah ditimpa kepapaan (kemusnahan hartabenda) dan serangan penyakit, serta digoncangkan (oleh ancaman bahaya musuh), sehingga berkatalah Rasul dan orang-orang yang beriman yang ada bersamanya: Bilakah (datangnya) pertolongan Allah?" Ketahuilah sesungguhnya pertolongan Allah itu dekat (asalkan kamu bersabar dan berpegang teguh kepada ugama Allah).

Help me cross the Siraat like lightening.

Ya ALLAH, pls do not give away my good deeds to others.

Reunite me with my family in Jannah.

Do not expose my faults in front of others on the Day Of Judgement.

Ya Afu, Forgive the sins that I don't remember n the sins that I didn't even consider as sins.

Grant me Qalbun Saleem.

Cleanse my heart from malice, jealousy, hatred, self-admiration,show off, envy.

Grant me the ability to forgive others.

Grant me soft speech, protect my tongue from lying,backbiting,hurting others.

Bless my siblings n their marriages. Bind us together with love. Do not let shaytan break our bond.

Grant all the single Muslims the coolness of their eyes.

Grant us righteous children and make them a sadaqa jariyah for us.

Help me understand, write and speak Arabic.

Help me maintain good ties with my relatives.

Help me see my faults and cover it from others.

Bestow me with wealth to spend in your way    

Do not let others humiliate/oppress/mock/take advantage of me.

Help me be courageous and take correct decisions.

Grant me modesty in clothing and speech in front of non Mahrams.

Oh ALLAH, help me leave behind a legacy with humility.

Forgive the Muslim ummah -the living and the dead. Bless the Muslims. Grant victory to the oppressed. Fill their hearts with Eman.

Oh ALLAH,accept my deeds.

Ya ALLAH, O my ALLAH, Ya Rahman, Ya Rahim, Ya kareem, Ya Sattar, Ya Gaffar, Ya Kadir, Ya Sami, Ya Aleem, Ya Zaljalaali Wal ikraam be rahmatika astagheeth.

Ya ALLAH I turn to you in repentance, in submission. I beg you plz fulfill my duas.

Ya ALLAH Forgive my sins, a complete forgiveness that leaves no trace.

Ya ALLAH Remove the love of this world in its degrees & forms from my heart.

Ya ALLAH Invite me to Your House to worship You.

Ya ALLAH Grant me a good end, make me love to meet You.

Ya ALLAH Make my grave & barzakh a peaceful, cool abode.

Ya ALLAH Grant me the Shade of your Arsh on Yawmul Qiyaamah.

Ya ALLAH Give me my record of deeds in my right hand and make my mizaan (scale) heavy with the good deeds.

Ya ALLAH Grant me the favour to drink from the Hawd Al Kawthar by our beloved Prophet's (pbuh) hand.

Ya ALLAH Ease my crossing of the Siraat & Qantarah (bridges before Paradise).

Ya ALLAH Favour me the ultimate bliss of seeing You in Hereafter.

Ya ALLAH Shield, increase & protect the love/mercy/barakah between me & my spouse for as long as we live.

Ya ALLAH Improve our behaviour with each other.

Ya ALLAH Reward my spouse Your best reward for her/his striving for my family.

Ya ALLAH Make the Quran & Your Commands be our judge in all matters.

Ya ALLAH Strengthen our practice of the deen together.

Ya ALLAH Make us join together in bliss in Jannah al Firdaus.

Ya ALLAH, assist us with physical & emotional strength to be good parents and example to our children.

Ya ALLAH Make our children the coolness of our eyes and make them sawaab-e-jaariya for me & my spouse.

Ya ALLAH Make them of those who establish Salah and prostrate only to you.

Ya ALLAH Protect my family from evil, calamities, enviers & the shayaateen from man & jinn.

Ya ALLAH Protect our children from harm, sicknesses, disbelief, haraam and destruction.

Ya ALLAH Grant our children success in Deen, duniya & Aakhirah & grant us a lineage of righteous offspring until Yawm al Qiyaamah.

Ya ALLAH Unite our entire lineage in Jannah al Firdaus.

Ya ALLAH Make our children workers for Your Deen, hafidhul Quran, da'ees, imaams, scholars and shaheeds.

Ya ALLAH Make them become the reason for our place in Jannah & shield against the Hellfire.

Ya ALLAH save me & my entire family from the Hell Fire & make us enter Jannah al Firdaus Aa'laa without being accounted.

Ya ALLAH, you are Al Gaffaar. Forgive my parents.

Ya ALLAH Reward them in the greatest measures in this dunya & akhirah.

Ya ALLAH Elevate their ranks and grant them Jannah al Firdaus.

Ya ALLAH Make me coolness of their eyes in their old age.

Ya ALLAH Grant my siblings success in this dunya & akhirah.

Ya ALLAH Elevate the ranks of my parents, spouse's parents,my sisters & brothers, my elders & entire Ummah.

Ya ALLAH Protect them from illnesses and difficulties of old age.

Ya ALLAH Forgive the sins of those who have passed away in my family & the Ummah - young & old.

Ya ALLAH Grant them a peaceful time in the barzakh till they meet YOU.

Ya ALLAH Save us from trials of Dajjal, Yujuj & Majuj & the last Day.

Ya ALLAH Grant my family & friends who are waiting for the gift of "children".

Ya ALLAH Unite the hearts of my worldly companions who work for You & strengthen our brotherhood.

Ya ALLAH Unite the hearts of those undergoing family/marital difficulties.

Ya ALLAH Grant your perfect cure to those who are sick.

Ya ALLAH Protect my brothers & sisters across the warzones & from the persecution, rape, slaughter, humiliation.

Ya ALLAH Relieve their sufferings & elevate their ranks.

Ya ALLAH Bring the downfall of those (modern day pharaohs) oppressors & Relieve those who are deprived, burdened, oppressed, in debt.
