Heavy words, great reminder!

➡ Every human is a slave. You're either a slave of your desires or a slave of Allāh. You either live life by your rules or the rule of Allāh.

➡ How can the heart travel to God if it's chained by its desires?

➡ O' son of Adam! Sell this World for the hereafter and you win both, sell the hereafter for this world & you lose both. #DeenOverDunya
Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyah

➡ Islam is not a buffet where you pick and choose what suits you. Don't obey your desires. Obey Allaah.
"Imprisoned is he, whose heart is imprisoned from Allāh. Captured is he, who is captured by his desires."

➡ Fudayl Ibn Iyad was asked "What do you find the strangest of all things?" He said: The heart that knows Allāh, yet still disobeys Him

➡ Don’t miss Salāh for the sake of people. You were born & will die alone, you’ll go to the grave alone & be questioned alone on Judgment Day
1
➡ Close friends, on that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous and God fearing..." •[Surah Az-Zukhruf:67]

➡ Fajr you're asleep, Zuhur you're busy, Asr you're tired, Magrib you're watching tv, Isha you're eating. You can dodge prayer, but not death.

➡ We prepare for uncertain matters in our life like marriage etc but do we prepare for the one event that is definitely going to happen #Death

➡ The first thing a slave will be held to account for is Salah. If we fall short on that, then we will fall short on what's to come.

➡ Fajr: Do not fear missing sleep. Fear a day in which there will be no sleep.”

➡ Expecting Paradise whilst neglecting Prayer, is like waiting for a train to arrive at the airport. Remember to pray Dhuhr

➡ Everyone dreams to be in Jannah, but Allahﷻ says:
لَّيْسَ بِأَمَانِيِّكُمْ
paradise is not obtained by your wishful thinking •[An-Nisa 4:123] #work hard 4 hereafter

➡ "If you could hear the sound of the pens of the angels writing your name among those who remember Allāh, you'd die out of joy."
- Ibn Al-Qayyim

➡ This Dunya Is Not A Resting Place 👉It's A Testing Place! #Earn Good Deeds!

➡ The world is a prison for the believer and a Paradise for the unbeliever". [Muslim] Your release here, sooner or later will be coming to an end.

Ibn Al-Qayyim (رحمه اللّٰه):
"He whom Allah has predestined to enter Paradise, the reasons which will cause his entrance shall spring from calamities;

He whom Allah has predestined to enter the Hellfire, the reasons which will cause his entrance shall spring from lusts”

➡ Get used to a rough life, for luxury does not last forever.
- Umar ibn Al Khattab

➡ Do not be overly pleased by easy times. Verily, gold is tested for its purity by fire. Likewise, a righteous servant is tested by tribulations

➡ It pains me to see born Muslims chasing the lifestyle of the disbelievers by drinking, clubbing, getting high etc.

➡ Why do you think reverts run away from that life to the deen of Allāh. Run back to your Lord for His mercy overcomes His wrath.

➡ How long will the person be happy with his worldly life?..Knowing that his ultimate home is the grave"

➡ No matter how beautiful your face is, you will still be the food of worms when you are buried. Set aside your arrogance & remember your grave

➡ Every single limb & organ in your body will speak up & bear witness against every action you committed in this Dunya
Not a word is said except that there is a watcher by him ready to record it.” [Surah Qaf:18] This includes all that you posted.

➡ Hijab includes the way a person walks, talks, looks and thinks. All of it should be done modestly and applies to both men and women" #Hijab

➡ My dear sisters in Islam. Cover up for the sake of Allah before its too late as today you are over the soil but tomorrow you may be under it

➡ Yes hijab doesn't necessarily indicate your level of piety BUT it is fard (a must). So regardless of what you say, you HAVE to wear it.

➡ Make tawba (sincere repentance) not just for sins you've committed, but also for obligations you haven't fulfilled.” [Ibn Taymiyyah]

I pray that the comfort of our graves exceeds the comfort of our beds.

We ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to take our souls away when He's most pleased with us and make us of those who're always conscious.

Beautiful Story of Nabi Yusuf a.s ...

 The Daily Reminder 7

Catatan diambil dari kuliah Mufti Menk menerusi Pearl of Peace  (CD #11)

Surah Yusuf, Ayat 111.

Pengajaran dari Kisah Nabi Yusuf a.s, menerusi Surah Yusuf.

  • Through jealousy you will never achieve peace.
Nabi Yaakub A.S berpesan kepada anaknya Nabi Yusuf A.S  supaya jangan menceritakan kepada abang-abangnya tentang mimpi yang Nabi Yusuf A.S alami.
Refer Surah Yusuf ayat 4-5 ;
"Verse 4: When Yusuf a.s. said to his father: Oh my father! Surely i saw eleven starts and the sun and the moon - i saw them making obeisance to me.
Verse 5: He said : Oh my son! do not relate your vision to your brothers, lest they devise a plan against you; surely the Syaitan is an open enemy to man.

  • Jealousy blind you to see what you have.  Be thankful to Allah S.W.T.

Surah Yusuf, Ayat 23:;
·         "... I seek  Allah's refuge, surely my Lord made good my abode: Surely the unjust do not prosper."
·         when people try to engaging in wrong doing -    Hidup tidak akan tenang sebab sentiasa dalam ketakutan kalau - kalau orang lain tahu.

·         Nabi Yusuf A.S dipenjarakan (mengikut sesetengah naration) - sebab baginda tak nak buat crime.
·         Tapi Nabi Yusuf a.s tenang sahaja seraya berkata :
"Oh Allah, to be jailed is more beloved to me than to engaging sins against You. (surah yusuf ; ayat 33)
Look at the peace that Nabi Yusuf a.s. have in his heart.
·         Oh Allah, ultimately we are going back to you.
·         Ayah Nabi Yusuf a.s said in Surah Yusuf; ayat 86
"I complaint about difficulties that I'm going thru and my sadness solely to Allah S.W.T.  ALLAH is the one who will resolve it for me".

·         Yes Nabi Yaakub a.s. cried but he never lost  his hope on Allah s.w.t..  Nabi Yaakub a.s tidak pernah berputus asa berdoa kepada Allah s.w.t..  Ada naration kata Nabi Yaakub a.s. berdoa selama 40 tahun sampai jadi buta namun tetap YAKIN yang Allah s.w.t akan mengembalikan semula anak-anaknya (Nabi Yusuf a.s and his brother).

Pengajaran dari Kisah Nabi Yusuf a.s

(No bitterness)

Surah Yusuf, Verse 92:

He said: (There shall be) no reproof against you this day; Allah may forgive you, and He is the most Merciful of the merciful.

Apabila Nabi Yusuf a.s menjadi diplomat ketika dewasa, dia tidak berdendam pada abang-abangnya.  Nabi Yusuf a.s maafkan sebab Allah s.w.t itu maha pemaaf.
And if not because of that incident, he will not get what he has today.

Surah Yusuf, Verse 100:

And he raised his parents upon the throne and they fell down in prostration before him, and he said: O my father! this is the significance of my vision of old; my Lord has indeed made it to be true; and He was indeed kind to me when He brought me forth from the prison and brought you from the desert after the Shaitan had sown dissensions between me and my brothers, surely my Lord is benignant to whom He pleases; surely He is the Knowing, the Wise."

Allah has been very kind to me that He removed me from the jail.

Nabi Yusuf a.s. tak salahkan abang-abang nya sebaliknya dia salahkan syaitan.
To get verses containt ... "Doa dan kata-kata bersyukur dari Nabi Yusuf a.s."

Surah Ar-rad, ayat 28 "Those who believe and whose hearts are set at rest by remembrance of Allah, now surely by Allah's remembrance are the hearts set at rest.

Kunci Pengajaran:
  • Be Humble.
  • Jangan Sombong.
  • Sometimes the plan of downfall from others is the result for us to be raised up high in the future.

Whenever we plan the downfall of someone, perhaps the same plan might result directly in that person actually to be raise above us.
Allah want to raise us above high from what we have now.
The thing that we need to have now is to be patient with the test from Allah.
Put your trust on Allah s.w.t.  as Allah is in control of EVERYTHING.
Allahuakbar dan teruskan berdoa dan buat baik.

The Daily Reminder 12 :Excellence of learning and teaching Quran

15/11/2015 (notes to share)

1. Relevant hadith s. The Prophet saw said:

i. "The BEST among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."

ii. "No people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, but TRANQUILITY descends upon them, mercy overshadows them, the angels gather around them, and Allah mentions them to those who are with Him."

- if we want tranquility and mercy in our family..put aside 10-20 minutes for all family members to gather and take turn to recite Quran and study it - together.

2. Nevertheless, we MUST BE SINCERE in reciting, learn and teach Quran.

The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said, “Read the Qur’an and ACT by it. And do not abandon it, do not exceed its limits, do not eat with it (i.e. money) and do not seek more by using it.”

i. do not exceed its limit - eg. even if we are able to recite Quran beautifully but when we want to recite it, first make sure we don't disturb others
ii. do not eat with it (i.e. money) by using it -paying people to recite Quran 'for many types of purpose' are already happening rampantly today. and many people confidently believe that 'paying people to read Quran' served the purpose e.g. helping a dead relative. while actually it is forbidden by the Prophet saw.

Conclusion:
Allah loves to reward us. Try our level best to read and memorize. The good news is ~ the more difficult it is for us (due to ageing etc.) when we continue to attempt ~ the more reward insyaAllah- don't give up!!

The Daily Reminder 11 : Remember Allah

1/11/2015 - notes

1. do not talk for a long time without remembering Allah

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not talk too much without remembering and mentioning Allah, for too much talk without mentioning Allah hardens the heart, and the person farthest from Allah is the one with a hard heart.” (Tirmidhi)

when we talk, we must on and off quote the verses of Allah or hadith or mentioning Allah. so that:
- our heart will be soften
- we will more careful with what we say
- we will be more humble in reminding each other i.e. with wisdom and patience
- we will benefit here and hereafter.

2. important to refer to Quran to find solutions/solve problems

i. if we submit to the 'words of Allah' (al Quran) we will find peace
- everything 'do this' in the Quran if we do it - it is for our own good
- everything 'don't do' in the Quran if we didn't do it - it is also for our own good
ii. most of the verses in the Quran are so clear and direct.

3. the longest verse in the Quran is in surah al baqarah. i.e. about debt/loan. Islam allows us to have debt/loan...but follow the rulings... and

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "if a man marries a woman with a dowry (that he will pay it for her later) and that he intends not to give it to her is an adulterer, and whoever borrows money and he intends not to pay it off is a THIEF"

4. al Quran is the book most recited in the whole world (and memorized even by those who can not read it). those who recite al Quran and do good deed = most profitable business!!!

(35:29)
Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish -

5. al Quran recitation will intercede for us in hereafter

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Recite the Quran, for it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.(Muslim)

6. recite al baqarah for our 'house warming' / shop warming

The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Do not make your houses like graves, for the Shaytan runs away from a house in which Surat al-Baqarah is recited'(Muslim)

conclusion:
- every Muslim should be discipline and committed to recite al Quran with understanding. may Allah make it easy for us and our family to be committed to recite Quran everyday. aaminn

Tips Kejayaan Dalam Kerjaya dan kehidupan...

5 tips DATO’ SRI AWO ; bila ditanya tips kejayaan beliau dalam dunia ekonomi, Korporat selama ini sehingga kini....;

1)   Mesti bekerja di kerjaya yang disukai

2)   Kena bekerja smart

3)   Kena mengajar diri proses pembelajaran sepanjang hayat

(ha ha this is I really agree too) ... hihihi...

Insya Allah.

Kau mampu jadi boss (ceo, menteri, etc...)

Huhuhu...
Sebab tiap kali habis event, mesti berlambak air yang dah teguk sikit dibiarkan sahaja di atas meja... Kalau aku mampu cth.nya kereta parking dekat... memang aku kutip semua air diaorang atas meja yang berbaki tu... bubuh dlm kereta, bawak balik buat siram pokok ke, buat air basuh tangan dalam kereta ke... yang penting jangan membazir...

So please spread the message... Janganlah membazir ... Anda mampu mengubahnya. Together we can reflect the changes... towards better lives, Insya Allah ...

The Daily Reminder 10 : All it takes

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh ...

All it takes by shaik omar el banna
29 Aug.2015 (14 Zulkaedah 1436H).

1.       We live in very rough time - time of much 'fasad', corruption, oppression, muslim blood are cheap, etc. do we care? do we really care? we claim we care but...

2.       We also have lost our 'dream'..most of our dream for ourselves and our family is all dunia (best education, best house, best salary etc)... BUT for akhirat we have very low aspiration.. the lowest level of jannah...is okay for us.

Rabia ibn kaab was one of ahli suffah (the poor who have no house, no food, no wife and even the cloth he was wearing was not enough to cover him properly) one day ..

Rabia b.Kaab, said:
"I was with Allah's Messenger s.a.w. One night, and I brought him water and what he required. He said to me: 'Ask (anything you like)'. I said: 'I ask for your company in Paradise.' He (the Holy Prophet) said: 'or anything else besides it.' I said: 'That is all (what I require)'. He said: 'Then help me to achieve this for you by devoting yourself often to prostration' " (Sahih Muslim).

SubhanAllah! he has nothing of this dunia and he didn't bother to ask any?!!!. If he had asked, RasullAllah s.a.w. would have asked the other sahabat and they will be racing to fulfil his requests to help Rabia..but no...his focus was jannah...not only jannah but TO BE WITH RASULALLAH S.A.W.!

And of course jannah is not easy thus RasulAllah s.a.w. told him 'help me to acheive this for you.....'

3.       All our sacrifices, worries, priorities are mostly about dunia but no or minimal  worries about akhirat.

4.       We complain about the leaders, the ulamas and the ummah. they should do 'this' and 'that'..but we just sit on our butts...as long as we are ok..our family is safe..we have good income...the ummah is not my problem! ask ourselves... 'what have I done for Islam beside complaining and criticizing others?'

5.       We want others to change/improve first...actually we must change/improve ourselves first - improve our character - it is not enough to just look after our family (wife and children). we have 'time and money' for dunia BUT we don't have 'time nor wealth' for the deen. ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT, ALLAH will ask us to show from our deeds - what have we done for our deen :((

6.        The story of musab bin umair, his sacrifice and the success of his dakwah. it was reported after a year of of his dakwah in madinah...there is a muslim in every house in madinah! Allahuakbar! imagine how happy he will be on the day of judgement! (you can read more about musab bin umair - link below) http://www.islamtomorrow.com/articles/Musab_bin_Umair_envoy.htm

7.       Conclusion:

  • Darkness/ bathil & corruption will easily fade away with light / truth. ( I think the speaker mentioned this verse. (17:82) And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to depart").
  • It only take someone to lit the light...do not wait for the next person to do it.

May Allah choose us and use us for His deen. aamiin

The Daily Reminder 9 : Pursuit of the hereafter

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh ...

Refer Quran verses (28:76-83).

Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men; thereupon his people said to him, "Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant.

But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters."

He said, "I was only given it because of knowledge I have." Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of generations those who were greater than him in power and greater in accumulation [of wealth]? But the criminals, about their sins, will not be asked.

So he came out before his people in his adornment. Those who desired the worldly life said, "Oh, would that we had like what was given to Qarun. Indeed, he is one of great fortune."

But those who had been given knowledge said, "Woe to you! The reward of Allah is better for he who believes and DOES RIGHTEOUSNESS. And none are granted it except the patient."

And We caused the earth to swallow him and his home. And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor was he of those who [could] defend themselves.

And those who had wished for his position the previous day began to say, "Oh, how Allah extends provision to whom He wills of His servants and restricts it! If not that Allah had conferred favor on us, He would have caused it to swallow us. Oh, how the disbelievers do not succeed!"

That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous.
  1. Qarun was tested with the wealth/ joy of life. He was excessively happy with these blessings. He thought his blessings were from his own efforts.  He became arrogant and tyrant. He was not kind to people.
  2. We too often forget that our blessings (intelligence, knowledge, skills, good jobs, good looks, nice family, wealth, peace and security) are from Allah s.w.t. Many times we had said/thought that we have 'this' and 'that' because of our efforts and intelligence. NO! they are not. These blessings are from Allah s.w.t. and they are our TEST.

  1. Most of the time, we too become arrogant with our blessings. Therefore we all need to be reminded that the test of blessings require us to DO RIGHTEOUS deeds. Use our blessings for the sake of Allah s.w.t and the 'deen' before it is too late. Be kind to people. Don't be arrogant.

ps. wealth/money often comes with corruption

Buat Sister Yona - Semoga Allah merahmati mu sentiasa dunia dan akhirat, Insya Allah.

The Daily Reminder 8 : Promosi Winter Cloth + Solat berjemaah

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh...

Sesejuk sejuk melben tu... masih belum sampai 0 degree.
Sesejuk sejuk aku di madinah hari tu... baru 12 degree...
Pun aku sarungkan 4 lapis baju...
Apatah lagi mereka...

Jom bantu...

(nauzubillah ; minta Allah jauhkan)...
Atas malaysia - tanahThai.
Bawah malaysia - kota Singa.
Agak -agak mana nak lari?
Kita hanya ada satu tanah - tanah melayu a.k.a MALAYSIA yang perlu kita pertahankan kerana ini tanah tumpah darah kita ... tiada lain...

Ayuh... kita kumpul ahli keluarga kita rakan2 jiran tetangga kita ...
Buat promosi besar2 an...
(Lagi bagus kalau 5 waktu berjemaah).
Mohon agar Allah tunjukkan kebenaran siapa benar ... siapa salah.

Bangunlah solat berjemaah ...
solat hajat ramai2...
Solat tahajud ...

Kalau kau boleh viral kan "membahan" pemimpin.
Kalau kau bangga turun mem "bersih"...

Kenapa KAU MALU viral kan...
Kempen subuh dan solat2 fardhu berjemaah.
Kempen solat hajat besar -besaran seluruh Malaysia.

“We sent messengers to many nations before you and We seized them with extreme poverty and loss in health so that they might turn to us in repentance.”
[1] Al-Qur’an, Surah 6, Ayah 42

Allāh says,
“And We had gripped them with suffering as a warning, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate.”
[2]Al-Qur’an, Surah 23, Ayah 76

[3]Al-Qur’an, Surah 42, Ayah 30

“Do they not see that they are put in trial once or twice every year yet they do not turn in repentance, nor do they learn a lesson from it?”
[4]Al-Qur’an, Surah 9, Ayah 126

Allāh says,
“And we tested them with blessings and misfortunes so that they may turn in repentance”
[5]Al-Qur’an, Surah 7, Ayah 168

Allāh says,
“Corruption has appeared in the land and the sea because of what the hands of men have done, that He may make them taste a part of that which they have done,so that they may turn in repentance.”
[6]Al-Qur’an, Surah 30, Ayah 41

Allāh says,
“And We will make them taste of the nearer punishment (of this world) before the greater punishment (of the Hereafter)so that they may turn in repentance.”
[7]Al-Qur’an, Surah 32, Ayah 21

Allāh says,
“And We destroyed the towns which are around you, and We have shown them the signs in various ways so that they might turn in repentance.”
[8]Al-Qur’an, Surah 46, Ayah 27

Allāh says,
“And there was not a sign which We showed them except that it was greater than the sign before it! And We seized them with affliction so that perhaps they might turn in repentance.”
[9] Al-Qur’an, Surah 43, Ayah 48

After identifying the illnesses, Allāh prescribes the exact same cure.
Allāh wants us to repent.

The daily reminder 7: The plan of downfall

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh ...

Nampak tak?
Baik... sebelum SSS komplen...
Meh saya salin balik tulisan tu...

"Whenever we plan the downfall of someone, perhaps the same plan might result directly in that person actually to be raise above us."

Allah want to raise us above high from what we have now.
The thing that we need to have now is to be patient with the test from Allah.
Put your trust on Allah s.w.t.  as Allah is in control of EVERYTHING.

Semoga bermanfaat ...

The Daily Reminder 6 : Eyes That Matters

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh ...

Eyes that matters,
by Br. majed mahmoud;

  1. Caring about people's judgment is okay (especially if it is related to their culture - as unity is very critical)...in fact it is encouraged...but it should not be more than caring about Allah's judgement.

  1. First  example :
                                  i.            'backbiting' has become the 'dessert' of every gathering/conversation. the scholars said that on the day of judgment, the body of the one who you backbite will be brought to you and you will be forced to literally eat the meat just as it is stated in surah al hujuraat (49:12) '..would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? you would detest it..'
ii.            On the other hand..if you defend your brother , Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. said:“The one who rebuts another from backbiting has protected himself from the fire.”
iii.            Conclusion 1 : when people backbite or want to start backbiting, be brave to stop them/ leave them. you might lose your friends/geng but you will receive the pleasure of Allah ..insyaAllah

  1. Second example
                                  i.            Don't be shy to say I don't  know, because the Prophet s.a.w. also said I don't know.
hadith:..somebody came to the Prophet s.a.w and asked him: What are the worst places? The Prophet s.a.w. answered: I do not know. Then Jibrael came to the Prophet s.a w. and was asked by the Prophet s.a.w. what are the worst places? Jibrael a.s. said: I do not know, but I will ask my Lord. Jibrael left and was away as much as Allah wished, then came to the Prophet s.a.w. and said: 0 Muhammad s.a.w., you asked me what are the worst places and once I did not know I asked Allah s.w.t. and He said: (These are) the markets. (Ahmad)
ii.            Conclusion 2 : If you don't ; say it. Pretend to know and thus giving wrong information will harm the person who had asked you (in this world) and harm you in the next world.

  1. Third example
                                  i.            Our religion is based on naseehah. Look at how the Prophet s.a.w. give naseehah to Umar r.a. Prophet s.a.w. kissing the black stone however umar r.a.  accidently harm someone. He s.a.w. said 'o umar, you are a strong man and if you wish to kiss the black but you see there is crowd there step away and just make doa.
ii.            Conclusion 3 : must always give naseehah but be wise. start with recognizing positive first and then advise gently.

  1.  4th example
                                  i.            Just to avoid people's judgment during wedding ..some islamic values were compromised!!!
ii.            Whatever our effort in a wedding, we are going to be judged and we will never be able to please all people. just like the story of juha, http://www.worldstories.org.uk/stories/story/9-joha-and-his-donkey
iii.            Conclusion 4 - we must put Allah's judgment above all...do not compromise!

  1.  5th. example
                                  i.            False testimony .
The hadith: Prophet s.a.w. said, "Shall I not inform you of one of the gravest of the cardinal sins?" We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He s.a.w. said, "To join others as partners with Allah in worship and to be undutiful to one's parents." The Messenger of Allah sat up from his reclining position (in order to stress the importance of what he was going to say) and added, "I warn you making a false statement and giving a false testimony. I warn you against making a false statement and giving a false testimony." The Messenger of Allah s.a.w. kept on repeating this (warning) till we wished he should stop.
ii.            The speaker once tested with this trail when his friend got a parking ticket because parking in handicap section. he told the police that was sending hos mum at nearby mosque. he was told he must get at least 1 witness... and he was asked by his friend to be false witness.
iii.            Conclusion 5..don't take that risk !!!

  1. Finally
Whoever sought the pleasure of Allah though it was displeasing to the people then Allah becomes pleased with him, and will make the people please with him, and whoever sought the pleasure of the people though it was displeasing to Allah then Allah becomes displeased with him and will make the people displeased with him.

The Daily Reminder 5 : Chain Reaction

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh ...

Chain reaction, by Sajid Umar

1.      From the speech of jafar ibn talib in the court of king najasi/ negus, we learned the formula of success and failure ie.
success = left sins
failure = commit sins

2.      Effects of sins (small and big)..evidences from the quran
                                 i.            Depression ;
(20:124):  "And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a DEPRESSED life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind."

                               ii.            Decrease sustenance / blessings
(7:96) : "And if the people of the townships had believed and kept from evil, surely We should have opened for them blessings from the sky and from the earth. But (unto every messenger) they gave the lie, and so We seized them on account of what they used to earn.

(71:10-12) : "I said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance; And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.' "

iii.            3. you become forgetful especially about islamic knowledge
(2:282) : "... And fear Allah . And Allah teaches you. And Allah is Knowing of all things."

iv.            4. rachetness in this live
(57:16) : " And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient."

Conclusions

  • Try our level best to leave sins...small sins...big sins...all type of sins.
  • Make lots and lots and lots of istighfar.
  • As long as we SINCERELY repent, be confident that it is accepted...insyaAllah ;
(39:53)  : Say, "O Those who have transgressed against themselves, (do) not despair of (the) Mercy (of) Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives the sins all...
  • The challenge is to be steadfast (istikamah) to stay away from sins. the motivation to be istikamah....at the VERY last moment of our life
(41:30-31) : Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah " and then remained on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], "Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish].

Allahuakbar! May Allah make us and our family members among them. aamiin.
